The workshop will be led by prof. Dr. Almir Peštek, associate professor in the Department of Marketing Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, which has extensive lecturing and consulting experience in the field of business and marketing.
Dr. Peštek studies of Economic Sciences attended at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, where he graduated, MA and PhD. During the academic 2014/15. year as a Fulbright Scholar post-doctoral program stayed at Loyola University Chicago – Quinlan School of Business.
Since 1999 he has been employed at the Marketing Department of Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, where he teaches courses on “Marketing”, “Marketing Management” and “E-marketing”. In 2011, he taught the subject “E-commerce and New Media” at the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA) in Latvia. During 2015, he taught the subject “Social Media Marketing” on Wirtschaftsuniveritaet Vienna – Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria.
In his capacity as a consultant has been engaged in more than 120 research and consulting projects for domestic and foreign partners. He also participated in the execution of dozens of training sessions and seminars in various fields: marketing and marketing management, digital marketing, marketing research, strategic management, entrepreneurship, business planning, etc. for domestic and foreign organizations.
Dr. Peštek is the author and co-author of 55 scientific papers published in scientific conferences and in scientific journals. He is the author of several chapters in textbooks Marketing and author of the monograph “The limited rationality in consumer behavior”, “E-marketing in tourism”, “Strategic aspects of tourism destination management” and “loyalty programs in the card business.”
